Empowering visual communicators who can create solutions to problems anywhere!
Step by step instructions are never taught to individuals who acquire professional jobs. Professions that pay well and keep you employed do not show you exactly how to do what you need to do. The big money jobs usually require you to take charge, come up with new ideas, make complex decisions, SOLVE LOTS OF PROBLEMS, and be creative in all aspects no matter what the profession. In an art class you learn the difficult challenge of being creative. How does drawing a picture make you a better nurse, lawyer, engineer, or even a better police man? It is all about SOLVING PROBLEMS! Thinking creatively is essential to solving problems. If you can apply creativity and critical thinking skills to a challenging problem in school, you can apply them to any obstacle you encounter on the job. In this class you will learn to think independently and take risks. You will grab tools and use them to explore ideas. Experimentation is the best way to learn how to SOLVE PROBLEMS using creativity.
